In this 1965 romantic romp, Frank Sinatra teams up onscreen with Dean Martin, fellow member of the gang Sinatra preferred to call "the Summit" - a.k.a. the Rat Pack. Sinatra stars as Dan Edwards, a successful but overworked advertising executive. His wife Val - played by Deborah Kerr - feels that her fun-loving spouse has become a bore after nineteen years of marriage, so they take a second honeymoon in Mexico to spice things up. The sparks fly, but in unexpected ways as the Edwardses mistakenly get divorced. A quickie-remarriage is arranged, but somehow Val ends up hitched to Martin's character Ernie Brewer, who's always had a yen for her. "We had a bad marriage," quips Dan, "Let's have a happy divorce!" As things get shaken and stirred in MARRIAGE ON THE ROCKS, look for guest appearances by Trini Lopez and Nancy Sinatra, in her first acting role opposite her father.

Warner Home Video's DVD release of MARRIAGE ON THE ROCKS as part of the Frank Sinatra Collection presents bonus features including the original theatrical trailer and subtitles in English, French and Portuguese.

There are only a handful of people who meant as much to the world of film as they did to the world of music. I think the case can be made that Frank Sinatra topped them all.
