With over two million copies sold, this is one of Sinatra's most popular releases of all time. It's also one of the most daring concept albums in his lengthy career, teaming The Chairman of The Board with 13 all-stars including Aretha Franklin, Barbra Streisand, Bono, Tony Bennett and Luther Vandross. The melding of each artist's distinctive style with the legendary voice of Sinatra creates a contemporary take on some of his most revered classics. Standout moments include an unforgettable "I've Got You Under My Skin" with Bono. Cole Porter has never sounded cooler than this. Another showstopper is Sinatra's duet with Tony Bennett on "New York, New York" where the longtime friendship these men share is palpable in their graceful rendering of this Big Apple anthem.

One of the most historic elements of this project was the return of Ol' Blue Eyes to the Capital recording studios. Just as he did in the fifties, Sinatra recorded with a full orchestra - and among many of the same musicians who played on the original recordings for the songs featured here. And true to his legend, Sinatra delivered each track in usually one or two takes. His duet partners shared in the magic of the moment and there's a profound sense throughout the record of the mutual admiration and respect that these amazing performers share.
