Thirty-five years after Frank Sinatra’s landmark visit to Argentina, and in celebration of his centennial birthday, the prestigious Centro Cultural Borges will host Sinatra: The Centennial Experience.  The exhibition will feature a personal and intimate collection of rare and unique photographs from Frank Sinatra Enterprises, the Sinatra Family Archive, the Capitol Records Archive and the Warner Bros. Records Archive as well as audio/visual presentations of the iconic entertainer’s most celebrated stage and screen performances.


The exhibition, produced by Finkel Productions in association with Frank Sinatra Enterprises, is slated to run April 1-30, 2017, in Buenos Aires and will include recently discovered family photographs, self-portraits taken during Sinatra’s formative years, and never-before-seen candid shots from his Golden era by a number of legendary photographers including Milton Greene, David Sutton, Ed Thrasher, Ken Veeder, John Bryson, Terry O’Neill and Allan Grant.


Curated by Cristina Carrillo de Albornoz, in cooperation and with the support of Frank Sinatra Enterprises, the exhibition will focus on four major themes:


1) Frank Sinatra in Argentina: Luna Park and the Sheraton Hotel 1981 concerts – including artifacts and audio and video of his time in Buenos Aires.

2) Frank Sinatra, the singer: vocal innate talent – including rare photos from his family archive and photos, music and videos covering his five-decade global career.

3) Sinatra: the versatile artist: actor, photographer, writer, lover of words – containing signed lithographs and unique photos of his movie and TV career.

4) Sinatra: his influence and legacy – Sinatra’s style continues to influence today’s biggest stars original testimonials and video footage will show his lasting legacy
