“Summit at the Sands”: The Rat Pack – Joey Bishop, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin and Peter Lawford – begin their legendary stint at the Sands hotel in Las Vegas. Guest stars of the highest magnitude dropped in unannounced.

Frank organized a “summit meeting” of the Rat Pack in St. Louis (hosted by Johnny Carson) as a benefit for Dismas House of St. Louis. It aired on a closed-circuit TV transmission under the title “The Frank Sinatra Spectacular.”
