back in the mid 50's my friend and i were sitting at hansons drug store in manhattan nest to the winter garden theatre were i was in the cast of a hit show when i mention to my friend bobby d that i read that frankie was in town to do a boy scout show at madison square garden and was staying at the new yorker hotel directly across the street,so we walked across the street to the hotel and i got on the house phone and asked for frankie's room and they connected me a man answered and i ask to speak to sinatra, he said he was on his way to the loby so we waited by the elevertor the doors open and out came this beautiful man with big blue eyes and i said hi frank and he retruned a hello piasano, but what he did not know that my friend was an unknown bobby darrin...........t-bone
