Sinatra Concert in the Sunrise Theater in Florida

I'll never forget the time I took a dozen yellow roses to give to Frank Sinatra at a concert in Sunrise, Florida. My parents and I were seated in one of the first few rows. At the end of the concert my mom and I went up to the stage to hand Frank the bouquet of flowers. He bent down to take them from me and I froze. I just looked up in his big blue eyes and stared up at him. My mom kept saying "Marci, give Frank the flowers". He stood there in his elegant way and just smiled at me until I released the bouquet into his hands. She had to repeat it a few times before I actually handed the flowers over to him.
I have another story about Frank Sinatra and how he adored his fans, but I'll keep that for a later time.

Great story! Jut out of

Great story! Jut out of curiosity, since FS played the Sunrise Theater in FL several times: Was that during one of the 1977/78/79 concerts, or later (he came back in 1985 and 1990)?

Frank receiving flowers @ Valley Forge Music Fair

In 1979 i saw Sinatra sing @ Valley Forge Music Fair, a nice venue for him in theatre in the round. When he got to "I Have Dreamed", he skipped the 1st verse so he was @ the bridge vocally when the Orchestra was only @ the 2nd verse. I said to myself "how is Frank going to get out of this one?" Just then a young woman comes to the stage with a bouquet of flowers, she was so moved as you were @ Sunrise, that Frank accepts the flowers, puts "I Have Dreamed" on hold & says to us the audience "She's crying!" He then resumes "I have Dreamed" from the top in concert with the Orchestra.I thought he was quite uncanny & effortless in getting back on track with the song via receiving the flowers.
